The room electronic module is the central control unit for the resident patient room. It is integrated into the ward bus and automatically configures itself. The-3digit alphanumeric room number is entered via the display or on the PC. All electronic units in the room are intelligent and connected via the 3-wire room bus in tree or star structure. The Room bus is constantly monitored and secured against short circuits and overload via an electronic fuse. If the ward bus runs from call and cancel unit to call and cancel unit, it is possible to install the room electronics FD4971 in the UP to reuse the old cable network.
